D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd Opens 210th Showroom in Kiribathgoda

Beginning from the 28th of November 2015, no. 76/A, Kandy Road, Kiribathgoda has become the location of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd.’s brand new showroom. This is the 210th showroom in the DSI retail network.

Mr. Nandadasa Rajapaksa the Chairman of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Ruwan Kannangara, Chief Operating Officer of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd along with many members of the senior management were present at the opening of the new showroom. The showroom features many popular footwear brands like, DSI, Ranpa, Samsons, Reebok, Puma, Fila, Redtape and Jessica.

D.Samson Industries(Pvt) Ltd Successfully Obtained FSC™ COC Certificate Under New Certification Body

D.Samson Industries (Pvt) Ltd successfully obtained FSC™ Chain of Custody Certificate under new certification body after 06 years, in order to ensure the consistency of the system. CONTROL UNION is our new certification body who awarded the certificate complying with the requirements specify in the FSC –STD -40 -004 V2-1 EN & FSC – STD -50 -001 V1 -2

Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) is a non-profit organization that sets certain high standards to make sure that chain of custody operation is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial & economical viable manner.

As a FSC™ certificate holder, we able to create an incentive for all employees to follow best social & environmental practices. Through our own experience we feel that majority of consumers prefer products form well managed plantations.

Samson Rubber Products (Pvt) Ltd clinched the award of 1st Runner Up (Silver Award) for Manufacturing Non Traditional Sector at National Business Excellence Awards 2015 held at Colombo Hilton 24th November 2015. The award was received by Mr. Sajith Rajapaksa CEO of Samson Rubber Products (Pvt) Ltd.

The National Business Excellence Awards is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view to recognizing business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business, whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

Samson Rubber Products (Pvt) Ltd won the SILVER Award (Agriculture Value added Large Category) at the 23rd "NCE Export Awards" Ceremony held at Colombo Hilton on 18thSeptember 2015. The award was received by Mr. Sajith Rajapaksa CEO of Samson Rubber Products (Pvt) Ltd.

The main intention of award ceremony was to recognize & reward the most outstanding exporters with exquisite performance over the year 2014. NCE Export Awards Ceremony was held consecutively for the 23rd year with great success & glamour.
