Samsons, the youth brand of D Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, has managed to captivate the hearts of its target market less than a decade after its launch. The brand has always understood the passions of youth while keeping pace with the latest trends in footwear.
This enduring connection with the nation’s young people continues with the brand being the official footwear partner for Season 3 of Derana Dream Star. The official launch of the Samsons Dream collection, specifically catering to Sri Lanka’s fashion-loving youth, was held on 05th July 2011 at its exclusive outlet at Maitland Crescent with the presence of the Management of D Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd. At this event the Samsons Dream collection was officially presented to the Final Top 05 Dream Stars by The Chairman of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Nandadasa Rajapaksha, General Manager (Marketing) Mr. Rohan Somawansa, Assistant General Manager (International) Mrs. Kaushalya Perera, Assistant General Manager Sales (zone 1) Mr. Nishantha Gamachchi.
The Samsons Dream collection is seeking to fill an inherent gap in the footwear market. At present there are two types of fashionable shoes in the market: those that are exquisitely desirable but sold at exorbitant prices, and those that are low-cost but lack the quality and proper finish.
