With the aim of unleashing another expansive approach in the form of the 203rd showroom, DSI has branched out in Wakwella Road, located in Galle, with yet another copious product offering for shoe shoppers down south. The new outlet is the fifth showroom to be introduced in Galle. The brand-new showroom was opened on the 18th of June, on a ceremonial note.
The showroom houses an assortment of local and international brands such as DSI, Ranpa, Samson, Waves, Jessica (footwear & bags), Reebok, Fila, Liberty and Red Tape. On the opening day, DSI endowed customers with a 10% discount, setting in sight a gracious offering for a loyal clientele.
Customers who patronize the new outlet was entitled to enter a draw, from the 18th to the 25th of June, by filling out a special coupon provided by DSI and from which three lucky winners will be selected. All the winners will receive valuable DSI gift vouchers.
The celebratory showroom opening was graced by Mr. Thusitha Rajapaksa - Managing Director - D Samson and Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Mrs. Kaushalya Perera, General Manager D.Samson and Sons (Pvt) Ltd along with members from the senior management.
The DSI network spans more than 200 company outlets and 4000 dealers and 50 sales representatives island wide. D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd has successfully concluded two programs of the Annual Town Promotion Series on 19th and 28th of May 2015 at Matale & Gampaha respectively with the participation of the Managing Director, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Human Resource Director, Senior Managers, brand team, category managers and sales staff. A special part of this town promotion was the CSR initiative by DSS where two DSI Supersport branded notice boards were donated to Vijaya Vidyalaya, Matale and 9 ticketing window light boxes to the Gampaha Railway Station.
The senior management of DSS visited the top dealers in Matale & Gampaha towns with gifts for the whole staff of each dealer shop while the rest of the staff of DSS visited all the dealer shops and non-dealer shops in both towns conducting a thorough market research.
Apart from the general proceedings of the town promotion, a special “Beat” promotion was conducted using the promotional lorry where people in the town were invited to take part in spinning a Fortune Wheel and win exciting gifts simply by producing proof of purchase of Beat slippers.

“Waves” initiated to celebrate the world flip flop day for the first time in Sri Lanka. To celebrate the team and colleague came in their waves flip flop to work on 19th June. We also gave 88 pairs free at DSI crescat and Kandy City centre premier stores
