Our innovative creations have come a long way from the standard rubber slipper, and is now a staple in Sri Lanka’s fashion industry.
Through our subsidiary company, D Samson Industries (Pvt) Ltd., we manufacture specialised school and sports shoes using hi-tech injection moulding machinery. Aiming to be up-to-date in everything we do, our newly acquired EVA injection plant is the only one of its kind in Sri Lanka.
As the first product of the DSI Samson Group, footwear has indeed come a long way in the 50 years of our existence; we aim to always remain forerunners in the footwear industry.
A leading manufacturer and exporter of footwear in Sri Lanka with ISO 9001:2008 Certification, D Samson Industries (DSI), the first Shoe Manufacturing Plant in Sri Lanka was established in 1962. The Company produces more than 60,000 pairs of footwear per day and has a workforce of 1,500 employees.
Established in 1981, the Company manufactures high quality casual footwear for Gents, Ladies, Infants and Children, made available in over 175 DSI retail outlets and over 2,000 multi brand shops under the brand name ‘Ranpa’. Samson Manufacturers produces approximately 250,000 pairs a month through its own EVA and PVC Fabric plants.
