Our subsidiary Samtessi Brush Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd (SBM) is a BOI approved company and a joint collaboration with M/S. Essef of Belgium. A leading brush and broom manufacturer in Sri Lanka, SBM adheres to stringent guidelines and procedures when initiating, producing and marketing, as well as assuring the quality and efficacy of our products. Our innovativeness and modern work processes have placed the Company as the sole producer of polypropylene fibre in Sri Lanka.
Our brushes and brooms are made of superior material such as rubber, wood and animal hair, as well as coco, Palmyra and polypropylene fibre, which are processed according to customer specifications. We use a specially manufactured advanced tufting machine that ensures durability and sets high industry standards.
A Company with strong foreign collaborations, Samtessi counts over 20 years of experience in the brush industry. Holding the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification, the Company’s high quality brushes and brooms are produced using the latest machinery and high quality timber from well managed FSC Certified rubber plantations. Products are also offered under different customer brands in customised packaging.
